Business Analyst – Solutions Development
The Business Analyst primary function is to serve as a single, consistent point-of-contact for Solutions Development. This position will work with Solutions Development and stakeholders using the analyst's independent judgment to manage updates to existing projects, and solve issues presented. The analyst also will coordinate with internal team members such as Client Success, Support Services and Project Services on Project Services issues. The analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements for technical tasks and projects; evaluating business challenges and recommending solutions; interpreting partner system requirements and specifications; analyzing data, layouts, requirements and documentation to determine development needs; supporting the staff's interfaces and applications during the production phase; assisting in preparing documentation and creating task lists; performing data audits to validate information supplied to customers; and running reports as needed. The Business Analyst will be required to perform administrative tasks in support of the team such as processing and tracking projects and handling incoming and outgoing project communications.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Gathers, analyzes, and documents business requirements for Solutions Development.
Communicates complex procedures effectively.
Makes data exchange concepts clear, simple, and understandable to both technical and business staff.
Creates and manages project tasks lists.
Maintains Solutions Development protocols by writing and updating procedures
Prepares client related documentation.
Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provides consultation and support to customers to ensure developed technical specifications meet their requirements.
Prepares minutes of meetings documents to inform attendees and non-attendees about what was discussed and what happened during Solutions Development meetings
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 - 2019
Proficiency in Windows 8 and Windows 10
Experience with Windows Server 2008 - 2019
Experience with Active Directory
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Adept hardware and software troubleshooting skills
Analytical and critical thinking
Competency in technical requirements documentation
Professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively correspond with both business and technical staff and translate needs accordingly.

Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, to include presentation skills on a one-on-one basis and in a group setting
Strong customer service and follow-up skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred
Will consider associate degree with 5+ years as a business analyst in an IT environment
Four (4) or more years of experience within healthcare IT
Demonstrated to perform with minimal supervision
Strong documentation skills
Four (4) or more years working with technology in a collaborative environment
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with C-Suite hospital executives
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in an office environment. Work may be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.
The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues (although situations can be imagined or hypothesized under which anyone, anywhere, might encounter potential exposure to body fluids).
